My doctor was out of the country and I ended up at a whole different hospital… nonetheless, God orchestrated every piece of that night — from the front desk ER worker that encouraged me, to the nurses that comforted me, to the doctor and his humility and staff at large — Thankful is an understatement. 🙌🏽 I planned to make these baskets prior to going into labor, but that didn’t happen, so I made them afterwards to express my gratitude! Might I add how nerve wracking it was to end up at a new hospital with a new doctor in the middle of the night, being aware of the statistical disparity in black maternal health.😅 My praying mother and mother in love DID not sleep and prayed through the night. 🙌🏽 My husband is also the real MVP!
