A person is in critical condition after being struck by a car while on a scooter near Crescent Lawn on Monday night. The Berkeley Police Department received calls beginning around 8:05 p.m. about the collision, which occurred near the intersection of Oxford and Addison streets. Two people were on the scooter when the accident occurred; the passenger on the scooter sustained significant injuries and was transported to a hospital in critical condition, according to BPD.
