If you’re eating 6 meals a day because someone told you your body can’t absorb more than 30g of protein at a time… it’s time to stop. The “30 grams max” rule is outdated and it has people setting alarms and building their entire day around something that was never fully accurate. Here’s the truth: Your body absorbs virtually all the protein you eat. The difference is in how much your muscles can use at one time for building and repair which is typically around 20–30g per meal. That doesn’t mean the rest is “wasted.” Your body is efficient and puts it to use in other ways. Spreading protein throughout the day is still a smart plan, but you don’t need to structure your life around tiny feedings. Focus on hitting a solid protein source at each meal. Aim for roughly 30–50g per meal, stay consistent, and let the long game work in your favor.
