NYC is getting a new festival this Spring 🚨
Sounds That Move is making its debut in Bushwick on May 15–17, taking over a one-block stretch of Scott Avenue with five stages, multiple venues, and a mix of concerts, parties, panels, and workshops. It’s being presented by Move Forward Music and positioned less like a traditional festival, more like a walkable music-discovery weekend 🔊
The lineup already says a lot about the direction. Names like Saba, Sango, Hope Tala, Kitty Cash, Habibeats, and Heems x Wiki are on the bill, which makes it feel like one of those events built around curation as much as hype. In a city that never really stops moving, this one looks like it’s trying to capture where live music, nightlife, and new-scene discovery are heading next 👀🎤
