#UnboughtandUnbossed Honoring Rep. Shirley Chisholm on her birthday. Born on November 30, 1924, she became the first Black woman elected to the United States Congress 🥰✌🏾
As we reflect on the legacy of Shirley Chisholm, let us be reminded that her words were a timely and emboldened reminder that we can’t wait for an invitation to claim a seat at the table. #BlackWomenLead
Celebrating her, always! ✊🏾
