We must dismantle the stereotypes, break the myths, and replace equating Black fatherhood to absence. We live in a society that chooses to showcase such negative imagery surrounding Black fatherhood, but we know that our community is FILLED with present, supportive, empowering dads - and how come that’s not deemed as newsworthy?
