Fulfilled. Satisfied. Overjoyed. Full. Happy. • Last night I attended The Village Market’s UnStuck Event and it was everything I could’ve ever dreamed of. To present to a panel of individuals who reminded me of family; to present to familiar faces that likened the warms smiles and brown skin of my sisters, my brothers, my cousins, etc. It further reminded me that representation matters and that it is important to pass the baton down to the next generation and allow them to finish the marathon our ancestors started. • This experience was more than me. I am still overwhelmed by the love I received tonight and the village mentality drkeyhallmon has created. For individuals who didn’t know me, to take the time to invest in me and aid me in bringing my dreams to fruition, is powerful beyond measure.
