“To #BeABluejay means to take advantage of all the opportunities that you are given. With Creighton’s smaller student body, building connections with professors and staff has opened my eyes to what I am truly capable of.” Lauren Pittinger, from Evergreen, Colorado, arrived at Creighton unsure where to begin. By giving herself time to explore, she found her spark. Through involvement in student organizations, she’s built meaningful friendships. She serves as Assistant Vice President for Programming for csuprogramboard. The encouragement she has found at Creighton, she says, is contagious. “When I had a support team, I was able to do so much more than I thought was possible.
