His IVHF biography highlights Brazil’s “Triple Crown” of gold medals: 2002 World Championship, 2003 World Cup, and 2004 Olympic Games, along with World League titles in 2001 and 2003. In 2002 Nalbert was selected as Brazil’s Sportsman of the Year.
