Every block in my camera roll from the ligamexsoftbol season⚡️ The purpose of this post is to show you that the majority of my blocks are actually pretty ugly if we’re talking about “perfect technique.” I’ve had girls in my program tell me they think their blocking isn’t good because their form doesn’t look perfect. Here’s why I don’t like that: In practice we should aim for “perfect technique” In games I think anything plays If you: • keep the ball in front • keep it close to your body • give yourself a chance to throw out a runner That’s a good block in my book A lot of girls in my program say they want to block like me Tbh that’s not my goal for you Don’t get me wrong, I think I’m a good blocker in my own way and my reaction time helps me a lot But my goal is for you to block better than me with elite technique and elite form.
