Alhamdullilah, we have a very exciting update for our Asiyah community 💜👏 Two days ago, we received an emergency call from a survivor at the hospital who was suffering from nerve damage after being physically assaulted by her abuser. Months ago her abuser burned and stabbed her leaving her with multiple stitches and profound trauma. This has led her to have a host of complex medical complications, including complex PTSD and extensive nerve damage. She called us in a state of immense sadness, struggling to process it all. But here’s where YOU came in. In just two days - thanks to the generosity of our community - we are helping her take a step into healing - 🔑 we were able to raise enough money to help her afford a space for THREE months. The space is on a first floor - and it will allow her to not have to walk upstairs. More importantly, the fear she has about running into her abusers will subside.
