LAIKA’s films have always inspired me, especially their obsessive attention to detail. As someone who’s pretty detail oriented in my own home, particularly while renovating and preserving pieces of the past, I’ve always admired the care they put into every tiny frame. While my renovation madness continues, I carved out a little cozy corner in my soon to be library to celebrate the release of their new book: LAIKA: The Magic Behind a Stop-Motion Dream Factory. The book highlights 20 years of LAIKA filmmaking and offers a behind-the-scenes look at their artistry.
