At the University of East London, our impact goes far beyond degrees. We employ thousands, with hundreds more local business roles sustained by our activity. Remove it and more than 3,000 jobs would disappear from the London Borough of Newham – more than the workforces of London City Airport and westham United combined. From training the workforce that powers our nhsengland, schools and businesses to supporting local enterprises, universities are woven into the everyday life of our communities.
