Retired CIA intelligence officer Marc Polymeropoulos was one of the victims of Havana Syndrome called to a meeting in the White House in 2024. Polymeropoulos says the Biden administration was indicating that new intelligence had come in, and then Dr. Paul Friedrichs, formerly one of the Pentagon’s top doctors, had a message. “He said very clearly, ‘I'm sorry. I want to apologize to you. I've never seen in 30-plus years of practicing military medicine victims treated in such a terrible manner. And I just want to offer my apologies to you,’” says Polymeropoulos. “I have chills now thinking about it. I had chills then.
