BMW in NYC: the center of culture 🗽 Over the years, the BMW Gallery in New York City (1986-1998) showcased museum-quality exhibitions, such as “BMW & Five American Artists,” which featured the 3.0 CSL race cars painted by Alexander Calder and Frank Stella, the 320 Group 5 racer by Roy Lichtenstein, the M1 Procar by Andy Warhol, and the 635CSi by Robert Rauschenberg. Though the BMW Gallery closed in 1998, its legacy lives on as an early cornerstone of BMW’s commitment to advancing arts and culture worldwide. #BMWArtCar #BMWGroupCulture calderfoundation roylichtenstein bmwusa rauschenbergfoundation warholfoundation
