Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office's K-9 Unit had the privilege to host an Explosive Detection K-9 Seminar, presented by Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine’s Detection Canine Science, Innovation, Technology and Education (DCSITE) program sponsored by Department of Homeland Security S&T Detection Canine Program, at our Annex facility. Approximately 15 canine teams, including those from the UNCC Police Department and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, participated in this regional training.
