I’ve realized that just because I have the money doesn’t mean the item is worth the cost. Case in point: those $278 headphones 🎧 are a 2013-era paycheck. Seeing it in hours worked instead of dollars just hits different. The only thing that actually made the cut is the Kobo, but even that’s going into a sinking fund. Instead of panic-buying and feeling that immediate “buyer’s remorse” hit, I’m setting aside small amounts specifically for this. It’s basically a guilt-free pass for future me.
