Bc as a dietitian mom I love teaching my kids where food comes from 🥹🐔🐮
Sometimes it’s easy for little ones to think food just appears in a package at the grocery store, but there’s actually a whole journey behind it! Thank you rodeohouston for such a fun activity!!! 🤠
Today we talked about how:
- seeds grow into fruits and veggies
- farmers harvest those foods
- cows give us milk to drink
- chickens lay eggs for us to eat
- sheep provide us w wool
and then those foods get delivered to the grocery store for our families to buy!!
Even simple conversations like this can help toddlers feel more curious about food + more connected to what’s on their plate
Kids are naturally curious and when they understand where food comes from, it can make exploring and trying foods feel more fun and meaningful!!!
SAVE this idea to play at home & SEND to another momma if they’re going to Rodeo Houston 🤎
