Sam Altman is giving credit where it’s due as the race to build the world’s most powerful AI systems accelerates. The OpenAI CEO publicly thanked Nvidia’s Jensen Huang after the chip giant rapidly expanded AI computing capacity to support OpenAI’s massive workloads on Amazon Web Services. According to Altman, Nvidia has been scaling infrastructure “like mad” to help meet the enormous demand for training and running advanced AI models.
