“If you really want something, just keep pedaling,” Gallaudet student Levi Wood says. That mindset carried him across America on a solo bike ride with a purpose. Over 74 days, he rode from Oregon to Virginia, raising $11,000 for the Global Deaf Research Institute. Long road days and unpredictable weather tested him, but the encouragement of his classmates and the support from Gallaudet reminded him he was never truly alone. Levi’s journey proves that courage, perseverance, and community can create an incredible impact.
