A man was declared dead after being found in need of “live-saving measures” on the shoulder of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, according to the Nassau County Police Department. An investigation is ongoing into the death of the man, 26, whom officers had tried to resuscitate after being dispatched to the expressway just south of Old Country Road, the department wrote in a news release.
