It's #WeAreCCSD Wednesday! Today, we are highlighting Ms. Emily Salmon, a Student Success Office secretary at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. A proud 2019 graduate of LVA, Emily returned a few years later, ready for a career change, applying for an Instructional Aide position. After stepping into that role, she transitioned into her current position as secretary in the Student Success Office. What truly makes Emily stand out is the way she connects with students. She doesn’t just assist, she listens. She takes time to learn students’ names, ask about their goals, and have real conversations about their dreams and aspirations.
