Kate Harpring broke Jill Razor's all-time Georgia girls basketball scoring record Thursday night while leading Marist to the Class 4A state championship with 40 points and 16 rebounds in a 58-50 win over Kell at the Macon Coliseum.
The daughter of former Georgia Tech and NBA forward Matt Harpring, she finishes her prep career as the No. 1-ranked senior in the country, a McDonald's All-American, and now a two-time state champion.
Next stop: Chapel Hill.
