EXCLUSIVE: Yessi Hernández spoke with Susan Sarandon, who is lending her voice and star power to support the organization One Fair Wage and its push for fair pay for restaurant and service workers. The Academy Award-winning actress joined advocates in New York to highlight the challenges many people in the hospitality industry face — many of them single mothers working hard to support their families. Sarandon shared that before becoming an actress, she also worked in the service industry, which is why this cause is so close to her heart. She says that as New York’s restaurant scene continues to grow, workers should share in that success through fair, stable wages and better protections. By standing alongside organizers, she hopes to shine a light on the people who keep the industry running every day. #exclusive #nbc4ny #telemundo47 Streaming: 4.nbcny.com/omTY3Qz Facebook: 4.nbcny.com/mbeh714 Instagram: 4.nbcny.com/g5YlkcI X: 4.nbcny.com/kAuuwUN TikTok: ...
