To my beautiful little blizzard baby girl on her 16th birthday… Being a teenage girl is hard. Many of us are still trying to get over it. My wish for you is that you can get through these years with continued grace, dignity, and integrity for yourself, your family, your friends, frenemies, enemies, bros, huz’, and everyone else in between. I’m proud of you for so many things from the way you handle yourself in most situations to your dedication to school, jobs, sports (including your incredible Varsity county championship!) plus your industriousness and steadfast desire to be an active young leader in the Jewish community. My pride for you expands every day with every good grade, act of kindness, responsible endeavor, and good deed you do. I wish for you all the good things in droves and all the bad things in drams. I have no idea how 16 years have passed since I first held you in my arms and can’t believe you went from being smaller than a loaf of bread to taller than me. Wow...
