Today we visit “The Lone Star State” for our Army ROTC #CadetOfTheWeek 🎉 Meet Luisa De La Garza, a junior majoring in Criminal Justice at the University of Texas – Arlington. She joined #ArmyROTC to become a better leader and develop stronger discipline. “Since I was a kid, I have always wanted to be in the Army and be part of something greater than myself. I envision myself becoming an Infantry officer and one day earning my Ranger tab, then transitioning into Military Intelligence to lead and develop a higher level of operational skills.” As a member of the Maverick Battalion, De La Garza has held numerous leadership roles and is part of the Sam Houston Rifle, Color Guard, and the ODM Ranger Challenge Team. “Joining ROTC has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
