When I moved from Los Angeles to semi-rural Pennsylvania, never did I imagine that I’d be bathing in a bowl for over a year. It was truly a humbling experience. Although it wasn’t ideal I have to say that there’s something therapeutic about intentionally and strategically washing every crevice with only a pitcher, basin and washcloth. I would always soak my feet last and during that time I would sit down and imagine exactly how I wanted to finish bathroom to look. I would use this time to manifest exactly the feeling I wanted to have in my new bathroom. I’m so pleased with how the new bathtub turned out and more so bathroom as a whole. It’s truly a romanticized version of the past that’s partially fact and shamelessly imaginative. Stay tuned for the full bathroom reveal.
