Temple Station deputies assigned to the City of Rosemead traded four wheels for two today. Despite the heat, our deputies are out on bicycle patrol cruising through parks, neighborhoods, and local shopping areas—making sure everything is running smoothly while connecting with community members along the way. Bicycle patrols give deputies a chance to stop, chat, and be a little more approachable… even if the white bike helmet look takes a little getting used to. Yes, it might look a little funny seeing a deputy sheriff pedaling down the street in uniform with a bright white helmet—but don’t let the wheels fool you. These deputies are still out there enforcing the law, keeping an eye on our parks, and making sure the City of Rosemead stays a safe place to live, work, and visit.
