If you’ve ever felt stuck in your own journey, this one’s for you. It’s been one year since I left my full-time job to pursue creativity. I thought courage would come easily after that… but recently, I realised I’ve been creatively stuck. So I decided to stop waiting to feel ready, and start talking to people who had already chosen courage. I met Elyn, who joined her sibling in taking over their father’s bread business. Jolinna, an award-winning cinematographer. And Sid, a full-time YouTuber who started in his 40s. Along the way, I also met entrepreneurs and creatives here in Singapore who reminded me how much there is to learn from the people around us 🫶 And somewhere in those conversations, I realised something simple: courage is built quietly, through the small decisions we make every day.
