Our Health + Wellness Department recently invited trainees, faculty, and staff to nominate Student Community Leaders, recognizing trainees who uplift those around them and contribute positively to the studio environment.
We are happy to share that Year 4 Jazz & Contemporary Trainee Fran Foster and Year 3 Ballet Trainee Joshua McCooey were selected this month. Both are known for their positive energy and the supportive presence they bring to the studio each day.
At Joffrey Ballet School, dance training is about more than technical excellence. A central pillar of our philosophy is whole artist development, guided by our core values of Community, Artistry, Resilience, and Excellence (CARE). We believe who our dancers are as people is inseparable from how they perform, and we are proud to recognize trainees who uplift their peers and help cultivate the inclusive, supportive environment that defines our studios.
This recognition celebrates the meaningful impact trainees have on one...
