Yesterday, the Joffrey Concert Group joffreyconcertgroup had the opportunity to share their artistry with students across Newark, New Jersey during a special lecture demonstration. Visiting Newark Arts High School, with Elliott Street Elementary School, Nelson Mandela Elementary School, and Belmont Runyon Middle School in attendance, our dancers offered a closer look at the creative process behind their work. Students experienced excerpts from the company’s repertory, including “And The Things That Remain” and “OOF” by Resident Choreographer and Artistic Director Bradley Shelver, and “By Any Other Name” by 2026 CMCI Choreographer Clifford Williams.
