“Get to Know” Part IX: Our first coach in the spring sport edition of our Get to Know series features the leader of the Varsity Baseball program, John O’Connor. Coach O’Connor is in his 2nd stint as the leader of the baseball program and has spent several years in the program in an assistant coaching role as well. Outside of baseball, Coach O’Connor has held roles the the football program, most recently serving as the varsity quarterbacks coach and leader of the Patriot Rookie Tackle program for over a decade. He has coached multiple MPCS student-athletes that have gone on to the collegiate and professional level and continues to pour into those alumni to this day. The team is coming off a big 16-1 region win at home against Galloway and will head to Vero Beach, Florida to compete over spring break.
