Musician Labrinth has said he is “done with this industry” after distancing himself from the TV series Euphoria, which he composes music for. Broadcast network HBO announced last year that it had recruited Hans Zimmer as a composer alongside him for the upcoming third season. Labrinth wrote several songs for the first two series but criticised the show and Columbia Records on Friday, adding: "I'm out. Thank you and good night." He appeared at Paris Fashion Week alongside Euphoria’s creator Sam Levinson last weekend and it’s not clear what caused the disagreement with the show. Labrinth was praised for his work producing Euphoria’s written music and welcomed Zimmer’s involvement for season three in July 2025.
