While leaders are choosing power over people, WE THE PEOPLE argue about flags, bathrooms and parties and then scroll past suffering like it’s background noise. We have evidence of children and women being raped and we do nothing. We watch elected officials make money off of their public positions while citizens starve and strangely enough some cheer it all on even though they get nothing. Then wonder why everything feels broken. “If you only got love for your own race, then you only leave space to discriminate” The blackeyedpeas asked, “Where is the love?” over 20 years ago.
