A special story sits with our partner drivedunlop here at Luft Tokyo.
In 1968, Tetsu Ikuzawa became the first Japanese driver signed to the Porsche factory racing team, competing in Europe with cars like the 907 and 910 and opening the door for Japanese drivers on the world stage. Through the late 1960s and 1970s he was a familiar presence in European pit lanes, often arriving in his Signal Yellow 911 S Targa, a road car that became part of his racing identity. Today that same car stands with Dunlop, a brand deeply woven into Porsche motorsport history, celebrating the driver, the machine and the cultural bridge he helped build between Japan and Porsche racing.
