After becoming a mom, taking time for myself was never something I thought I could do. I thought it would make me selfish… like choosing an hour at the gym meant I wasn’t putting my kids first.
For a long time, I believed being a “good mom” meant pouring everything into everyone else and leaving whatever was left (if anything) for me.
But after a year of prioritizing movement and carving out time for myself, I’ve learned it’s actually the exact opposite.
Taking care of myself hasn’t taken anything away from my kids, it’s given them a better version of me.
More patient.
More energized.
More present.
And ultimately a mom who’s showing them what it looks like to respect and take care of your body.
CrossFit didn’t just make me stronger physically. It reminded me that moms are allowed to have goals, space for themselves, and things that fill their own cup too.
And the biggest lesson?
Taking an hour for yourself doesn’t make you a selfish mom… it helps you become a stronger one, bot...
