On October 29, 2022, Starr Andrews became the first Black U.S. figure skater to win a Grand Prix Medal.
The 21-year-old won a silver medal with her free skate performance to Lara Fabian’s “Je Suis Malade.”
She’s the first to do so in the series' 27-year history! That’s a whole lot of #BlackGirlMagic and #BlackHistory all in one!
Continue to shine, Starr! 💗
