Returning to Chaboya Middle School felt incredibly special. 🤍officialchaboyanews As part of the Class of 2013, I remember sitting in the school quad having lunch with my friends and sitting in those same bleachers dreaming about what my future might look like…and taking my first chances performing. I was even part of Chaboya Idol back in the day while also singing on TV competitions. Last week, I stood on that same gym floor sharing my story with the next generation and talking about how I balanced school while pursuing my passion. 🎶📚 After the assembly, many students stayed to talk, ask questions, and share their dreams with me. Moments like that mean everything. 🙏🏼 I’m especially grateful to Ms. Carino, my former math teacher, who invited me to speak to her leadership class a few years ago.
