The Quintanilla family is taking legal against against fast-fashion giant SHEIN, which has allegedly been selling multiple shirts and other apparel bearing Selena’s name, face, and likeness without prior authorization. Suzette Quintanilla, Selena’s sister and manager of the family’s music company Q-Productions, filed a lawsuit against SHEIN, alleging that despite issuing a cease-and-desist letter to SHEIN around August 2025 demanding that the company stops selling all Selena-related apparel, the company allegedly ignored the legal notice and continues selling bootleg Selena merch. Now, Suzette and Q-Productions are suing for trademark infringement, unfair competitions, and publicity rights violations, demanding that SHEIN stops selling unauthorized Selena merch immediately and hands over all profits generated from apparel with the Queen of Tejano music’s name and face. #SelenaQuintanilla #SHEIN #SuzetteQuintanilla #HLOG
