Ben Lamm, the CEO and co-founder of @Colossal Biosciences — the world's first de-extinction company — joins Brian Hiatt at The Rolling Stone Studio live at @SXSW, presented by @jbl, to talk about bringing extinct species back to life, the ethics of resurrecting animals, how he could engineer microbes that eat plastic, his plan to build genetic bio vaults around the world, and whether his company could actually make a unicorn. A serial entrepreneur who built and sold five tech companies before turning 40, Lamm partnered with Harvard geneticist George Church in 2021 to launch Colossal, which is now valued at over $10 billion.
