Last year, we introduced you to MISS JANE HATHAWAY, a filly with quite the unique look 👀 Despite losing most of her ears to frostbite as a foal, it has never hindered her hearing or ability to train, and she’s continued to excel in preparation for her debut as a fully-fledged racehorse.
On Thursday, March 12, Miss Jane Hathaway made her debut a winning one as she led a front-running charge to score the upset in the fourth race on the card at Aqueduct. The least experienced going into the race, the resilient filly proved much the best as she won the six-furlong Maiden Special Weight by 1 1/4 lengths.
Ridden by ReyLu Gutierrez, she is a homebred for James Corrao and trained by James Ferraro. The 3-year-old filly is a daughter of New York stallion Central Banker, standing at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds.
