VSN FEATURE — Tanner Currier Grinding at the Next Level The jump from high school baseball to college isn’t easy, but Brawley Wildcat alumni Tanner Currier (Class of 2025) is embracing the challenge. Now focusing on only pitching at the University of Redlands, Currier is competing in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, where every game is a battle in a demanding 40+ game season. “Baseball has been very good as I am in a great environment that is highly competitive with a great atmosphere. Every game is a grind and usually comes down to the last inning.” Currier has already seen time on the mound, appearing in 15 games with 24+ innings pitched, recording 2 wins and a save for the Bulldogs. “College baseball was definitely a big adjustment from high school… you can never take a pitch off and have to stay dialed in with your pitch sequences.” With games sometimes four times a week, Currier says the season flies by — but it’s an opportunity he never takes for...
