I’m not interested anymore in surrounding myself with people who can’t see deeper than the cover of the book. I’m not looking anymore for instant gratification as a compliment or validation that I’m doing the right thing - I just know that I am. and I know the right people will be attracted to me and will stay, and the rest will turn to ashes like a bad dream. I love every day, stepping into my new reality, and I love all my dark and sad moments even more than the good days - because through them I learn how I can be better. My mind has shifted completely in another direction, and it’s mesmerizing to observe how many layers of “us” we have - and we just need to truly want to see them.
