#tbt to when I lived in the Basque Country. The first photo is me outside the #guggenheim museum. The building itself is a work of art 🖼️ and it’s in Bilbao which aside from Milan is one of my favorite cities in Europe. The second photo is a selfie 🤳 I took in #vitoriagasteiz in my apartment. Honestly, I know this sounds crazy but that place was fucking haunted!!! Maybe it had something to do with all the basque witches that were killed in the witch trials 🤔 or maybe it was the energy from the trauma there because not many people know this in America but the Basque people were persecuted for speaking their own language up until the 1970s. So anyway I lived there for almost three years and although I speak multiple languages fluently it was SO hard! It’s harder than Arabic in my opinion so I never got a grasp on the language.
