Nostalgia is best expressed through food. This one is a childhood favourite of mine that my grandmother used to make for me as a late afternoon snack when playing soccer with friends at the age of 9. If you are from Spain, you know exactly what this is. Forget Nutella on bread. Instead melt yourself some good dark chocolate and spread it on some thick cut toasted or grilled sourdough and smother it with the chocolate. Finish it with some flakey sea salt and a drizzle of good extra virgin olive oil.
