Grateful for this recognition from The National Diversity Awards 2025 .. It recognises being shortlisted in the Positive Role Model category for Race, Religion and Faith. I was unable to attend the ceremony in Liverpool last month and did not win the award, but this thoughtful gesture from the organisers is something I genuinely appreciate.. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and support my work on improving South Asian representation in football. It means a great deal to me. The advocacy continues. We celebrate the positives and keep challenging the underrepresentation. There is still a long way to go in ensuring fairer visibility, opportunity and inclusion for South Asians in the game.. The focus now turns fully to next year’s asianfootballawards .. taking place at Wembley Stadium on 1st October 2026.
