I took this photo recently, and it got me thinking about an idea a few of us are working on… . Hollywood’s influence runs deeper than we realize, subtly shaping how we see ourselves, each other, and the world around us. Through its stories, it’s crafted ideals of how we see love, heroism, beauty, and power, that have seeped into our collective consciousness. These narratives can inspire and unite, BUT they can also distort reality, perpetuate stereotypes, and silence diverse voices…. . Whether we embrace or reject it, we are all, in some way, products of the film industry’s reach… with no fault of our own these ideologies seep into our subconscious mind. . But what happens when we go beyond the screen and step into the world behind it, a world of creative brilliance, calculated decisions, and unseen compromises?
