Returning to Japan last month for the second time felt like reconnecting with a piece of my roots. From Tokyo’s vibrant energy to the peaceful trails of Magome and Kiso-Fukushima, each experience felt even richer this time around. Eva and I enjoyed onsens, indulged in local flavors, and even wrapped up our trip with a cooking class in Tokyo—a beautiful way to honor my Japanese grandparents’ culture.
