Be Patient, and kind to yourself kids đ«¶
One of the biggest challenges I see with young athletes today is how hard they are on themselves.
- Every missed shot.
- Every turnover.
- Every bad game.
They carry it like it defines them.
But the truth is this, growth doesnât happen without mistakes.
If you want to become great at something, you have to allow yourself the space to learn, experiment, fail, adjust, and try again. Thatâs the process.
You need to be kind to yourself along the way. đ
Being resilient is important, but so is patience. Beating yourself up every time something doesnât go perfectly isnât a sign of toughness, itâs just self imposed pressure that you donât need.
Real development takes a long time. You have years, not weeks, to uncover your potential.
The player you are today is not the player you will be in two years⊠or even five yearsâŠ
If you keep showing up, keep working, and keep believing in your growth, you can create unbelievable change in your life....
