I have coached thousands of kids over the years, but Amy will always be one of my most memorable and favourite people. I remember she came to me , a bit lost , upset and frustrated, that she felt like she was better than people gave her credit for , and that she wanted to reach the potential she knew deep down she knew she had. Most kids don’t have the self awareness or confidence to admit that , and she was so open and honest about how she felt , the empty promises she had been made, and the fact she felt let down with where she was at. She worked her absolute a** off from the jump. She got in the best shape of her life , and we put in a huge amount of work. I built her game around her mid range abilities, and we developed her game with specific skills to allow her to get open and score.
